KATHY COGAN (Margaret Mary O’Malley): Kathy Cogan has been delighting audiences for many, many years with her quick-witted “tour-de-force” acting and comedic timing, in such hits as the Off-Broadway and national tour of Late Nite Catechism, where for nearly eight years she received rousing raves from audiences and critics alike all over the United States and Canada. In addition, Ms. Cogan also performed in the Off Broadway smash hit, The Vagina Monologues. This multi-faceted award winning comedic actress could also be seen her live Cooking for Idiots show as well as her one-woman show The Nail Room that was performed Off-Broadway as well as at the Rascals Comedy Club. Her radio show The Nitwit Hour can be heard on www.VillageRadio.com. Other theatrical productions include: Graceland (Off-Broadway), Talking With, Perfectly Frank (nominated for Best Featured actress in a musical by the AVY Arts and Theater Committee), Mystery Of Edwin Drood and Pump Boy’s and Dinettes. Kathy is also the co-founder of the Something for Everyone Theatre Company, New Jersey’s premier dinner theater entertainment. Along with numerous concert and cabaret dates, Kathy has also hosted and performed in many fund raising galas such as Taste of the Nation and the Grace Foundation. In addition to Kathy’s acting prowess, Ms. Cogan’s masterful improvisational skills were nurtured and further developed under the study of the Viola Spolin technique. |
